19th May 06, a year after my wedding. Doesn’t feel like its been 1 year, more like 4 mths or so… Time move a whole lot faster after quarter life. Perhaps, I’m the one who’s slowing down so much that everything else is moving too fast. Never the less, I’m celebrating by eating heartily at the Euro Friday buffet. So far this is the most satisfying buffet I have in Kuching. At RM$60++ per head, its gotta be good. The food that I downloaded: lasagna, mussel, smoked salmon, oyster quiche, grilled salmon, lamb shank, DIY pizza, pasta bolognaise and variety of cakes.

Who’s Craig Thompson? Well, you won’t know him if you’re not into graphic novels. I’ve bought 2 of his novels(Blankets & Carnet De Voyage) and had fallen in love with both. Lovely artworks & emotional stories. His cute website is at http://www.dootdootgarden.com/ This is one of the page from his new book, "Carnet De Voyage" which somehow I could relate to:

Last night I dreamt I fly to Macau and took a ferry to Hong Kong. Hong Kong in my dream is a futuristic place with weird looking supertall buildings. I took a very crowded lift up to the top floor of one building and can’t get off it because a "huge" lady stood in the way. The lift is kinda weird too and look pretty much like a tray that travels through a tunnel. I sketched it out just so that you know what I’m talking about.
Ok, enough of nonsense. About going to Macau, I look up the price on Airasia, and wow, its really cheap. One can take a "TurboJet" ferry to cross from Macau to Hong Kong (http://www.turbojet.com.hk). The economic fare is between HK$142-176(macau->HK) and HK$138-172(HK->macau). And that’s RM135++ for return trip.
My dream might come true soon. hehe.
